Pattern:The Moccasin Sock by Elizabeth Zimmermans using the directions found in the Knitting Around book
Needles: 2 size 6 circular Addi Turbo 16" and 24" long
Yarn: 2 skein of Noro Silk Garden color #8 and 1 skien of Brown Sheep Company's Nature Spun worsted color Limestone
Gauge: 5sts=1"Finished dimensions: 6" long ribbing for the leg and 10.5" long for the foot and circumference but the sole shrank that up by 2.5"
Modifications: I wove all the stitches together starting at the heel.
Notes: These really didn't fit, but Michael is happy. I think that the sole decreases are my issue with the fit because every one of these socks was knitted the same except the sole. So the question is do I knit a deeper sole or use fewer decreases or just try not to make them for Hubby.lol? Oh, and these were the same dye lot and it's a no go on match. How do people make sweaters out of this stuff? I can only imagine they cut it up to match.
