Soon to be man...

Pattern: Baby Jaywalkers

Needles: size 2 circular Addi Turbo 40" long.

Yarn: Intertwinement's Portrait of a Man (100yds.)

Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows ='s 2 inches.

Finished dimensions: 4" long for the leg and 5.5" long for the foot and circumference.

Modifications: I knitted them cuff down with a wedge toe, a Queen Kahuna's "no wrap - no gap" short row heel, and two at a time using the magic loop method.

Notes: This yarn is so soft, the pattern looks great, and best of all, it stays up Alex's skinny little leg.

Great socks! I'm addicted to the Jaywalker pattern. Sorry to hear that you had the vicious bug. I've been there and done that in the last month too. I hope you are all well now, and enjoying your trips--even with the cold. You need to get a big feather quilt, and one of those heated car blankets that plug into the auto cigarette lighter. Stay warm!

Thanks!
Yeah, that's the ticket...a big feather quilt and I could sing that John Denver song about that great big feather bed with the kids. No little pig from the shed or the dogs, but we could have fun.

Very cute baby Jaywalkers!

You left me a comment about my hearts stole - if you go back to October/November ish, you'll see I plotted this stole myself, adapting 2 Barbara Walker patterns. I've graphed them with Knit viualiser, feel free to use that if you'd like for something similar/different yourself! Let me know if you do, won't you?
